ServiceLink’s home page, the Service Pipeline, is the nerve center of the application, providing you with a summary of upcoming, current, and past Tickets and Work Orders.
Tickets begin on the left side of the Pipeline and move to the right as they progress from Pre-Work Order (upcoming jobs), to Open Work Order (work currently being done), to Post Work Order (closed and invoiced). Click on any of the Ticket totals (blue buttons) to view the list of Work Orders contributing to each total.
Every ServiceLink session starts on this page, and understanding its capabilities is a crucial step to mastering ServiceLink as a whole. In the next couple pages, we’ll highlight some of the additional features of this page.
Click on the search bar in the top-right corner of the screen to open the search window. This feature lets you search Work Orders by a wide variety of criteria, and is the fastest way to locate a specific Work Order!
Select a search criterion using the buttons at the top of the window, then start typing to fetch a list of matching Work Orders.
Check the “Hist. WOs” checkbox to have invoiced Work Orders show up in addition to current Work Orders.
The search feature is available from every page in ServiceLink, not just the home page!
For even more robust searching options, click the Advanced button next to the search bar to access ServiceLink’s Advanced Search feature.
Not only does this feature allow you to search against over 20 different criteria, searches can also be saved and exported to Excel! To access these options, click the gear icon after running your search.
Once you’ve performed your search, click on any of the hyperlinked Ticket or Work Order numbers to instantly jump to its details page.
Click on any of the Ticket counts (blue hyperlinks) in the Service Pipeline to view the list of Work Orders contributing to that total.
From here, click on a Ticket’s Ticket No. to see Ticket details, WO No. to see Work Order details, or Heldups to see the list of heldups affecting that Ticket.
Use the left sidebar to jump to a different Work Order list, or click the “Back” button to return to the Service Pipeline.
You can also sort each column by clicking on its header, and resize and reorder columns by clicking and dragging on the headers or the spaces between them.
If you want to save your modified view, click the gear icon and select “Save Configuration”. You can do this with ANY list view within the application!
