Service Management, Rental Management, and Financials (Classic) forms the backbone of the Service, Rental, and Financials  suite. This is a powerful, heavily configurable, web-based tool that provides your staff with all the functionality needed to run your business:

  • Service Management: Create Work Order estimates and share them with your customers, then convert estimates into full Work Orders and assign them to Mechanics for completion. Manage Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Warehouse Receiving, and more.

     

  • Rental Management: Create Quotes, Reservations, and Contracts. Create Tickets for equipment pickup and delivery, and assign them to Drivers for completion. Perform exchanges, manage rental inventory, and more.

     

  • Financials: Manage AP, AR, and GL with powerful accounting tools. Perform account inquiries, view financial statements, and complete the daily close process.

Expandable folders group related functions, keeping the interface clutter-free while ensuring quick access to key features.

Every detail, from layout to functionality, was crafted to make daily operations as simple and efficient as possible.

  • Streamlined Navigation: The large, clear buttons make it simple for users to quickly access key modules without digging through nested menus.

     

  • Role-Based Access: The displayed buttons are based on the user’s security settings, so each user only sees options relevant to their role. This reduces clutter and ensures users aren’t exposed to unnecessary or sensitive features.

Service, Rental Management, and Financials (Classic)’s middle pane acts as a versatile navigation and search hub, allowing users to locate and access specific programs, functions, and menu items efficiently. Combining a detailed menu tree view with a powerful Quick Launch search feature, this area is particularly beneficial for users who are familiar with the system’s capabilities and prefer text-based navigation for speed.

  • Folder-Based Navigation: After selecting an option from the left-side menu, the middle pane updates to display specific functions associated with their selection. Double-click a function to launch it.
  • Quick Launch:The Quick Launch field allows users to bypass menu navigation by typing in keywords to launch specific functions (such as ARIF01 for AR Invoices). This provides direct access to frequently-used tools and significantly reduces search time for experienced users.
  • Advanced Search: By searching descriptions or function names, users can quickly find tools without knowing the exact menu path. This is invaluable for discovering new functionality.

The rightmost section of Service, Rental Management, and Financials (Classic) is the Internal Messaging and Help Center access area. The key areas to note are:

  • Internal Messaging: Send or read internal messages directly within the system.
  • System-Wide Notifications: Displays important alerts, such as system maintenance or updates.

     

  • Distributor Information: Custom messages specific to your organization.

     

  • Actions Menu: Utilities such as changing passwords, opening cash drawers, selecting printers, locking sessions, and logging off.

The help button in the top-right corner of Service, Rental Management, and Financials (Classic) can be used to quickly access help materials.

This button is context sensitive, meaning that clicking it will open documentation for the function or window that is currently open. This is a fantastic way to troubleshoot difficulties or learn more about the system!
